The purpose of the role is to deliver a high quality, highly responsive HR service to the clients of HR Dept, North and SE Hampshire, both on client sites and through the Advice Line, with clear advice on all employment related issues.


Allocated as a named contact for our Key Clients, you will work with the clients to provide an exceptional HR Advisor service, building strong relationships and attending client site in line with the contractual service provision.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Advise clients in line with legislation and best practice HR within their time constraints, requirements and business.
  • Provide a highquality HR advice service to clients with accuracy and speed of response.
  • Deliver in house HR support to our clients, as per the individual client's agreement.
  • Take time to understand the problems our clients are facing and provide pragmatic and commercially viable solutions.
  • Be creative in constructing solutions for our clients, their team and their business.
  • To lead and guide clients through any Employee Relations issue including a significant number of disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and dismissals.
  • To write clear Managers guidance notes and letters for all advice provided.
  • Create documents and letters as required accurately for clients.
  • To guide and mentor Managers to lead many employment policies and procedures themselves.
  • Attend formal HR meetings with clients at their site as and when required i.e., disciplinary hearings, redundancy consultations etc.
  • Create Contracts of Employment and Employee Handbooks for clients.
  • Develop HR Best practice systems, training courses, policies and procedures in line with the clients' business, culture and requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients where they rely on the HR Dept as an essential part of their business through high levels of trust and confidence.
  • Maximise every opportunity with the client to win new business, always looking for ways to "up sell"
  • Manage and keep up to date the Tracker system for all work required.
  • Manage our HR System for clients.
  • Implement HR Best practice systems, training courses, policies and procedures in line with the client's business, culture and requirements.

  • Good level of UK Employment law knowledge

  • Provide advice on any employment related issue with clarity, confidence and accuracy whilst being very decisive.
  • Ability to find solutions to what the client is trying to achieve in the quickest and most costeffective route.
  • High level of influencing skills at all levels of an organisation up to and including business owners.
  • Ability to design and deliver training courses, workshops and seminars.
  • Good level of presentation skills.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
  • Confident and clear telephone manner and skills.
