Our client is looking for an experienced Furniture Restorer / French Polisher to join their growing team. In this role you'll play a vital role, restoring a mixture of furniture items including ceramic, porcelain, and marble. Immediate start available.

The role:

Our client is a leading furniture restoration and hire company working within the TV & Films industries.

Started in 2018 with a small team of experienced restorers, they are now looking for an experienced Polisher/ Restorer to join their team.

Working on furniture ranging from the medieval era to the 20th century, your role will be maintaining and repairing their vast stock of antique furniture and accessories.

This would be with both traditional and modern restoration methods, using your abilityto both repair and realise creative Ideas.

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience as a French Polisher/ Restorer.
The ability to work under your own initiative, to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Experience working with veneering, casting, and carving methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive approach to problem solving with attention to detail.
Computer literacy.
Ability to learn new skills to improve the quality of work completed.
Knowledge of upholstery repairs (preferred).
