**The Company
**Able Bridge Recruitment are partnering an accountancy practice who are embarking on a strategic expansion into Scotland. Due to a gap in the market, our client have identified a massive growth opportunity and as such have opened an office in Dundee.

As such we have been exclusively retained to assist them in the recruitment of several key hires for the new venture.


The role of client tax manager will report into one of the corporate tax directors and will be based in the company's new Dundee office.

The post has been newly created due to organic growth and the decision to expand. You will be working within a departmentthat has a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders across multiple locations.


We have successfully placed a number of accounting professionals within this accounting firm and the consensus with all have been positive and have fed back that the practice is a superb employer.

**The Responsibilities
**The purpose of this role is to provide specialist tax advisory support to client managers, directors and partners. You will review the work of a team of tax advisers/tax assistants and accounts assistants who work on your portfolio. At the same timeyou will actively be encouraged to be the face of the firm when dealing with clients, at networking events and other industry specific forums.

**On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
**Accountable for a portfolio of tax clients (both corporate and personal), ensuring returns are completed within agreed timelines.
Collation and consolidation of information pertaining to the completion of complex corporate tax returns and associated personal tax returns.
Advise client managers, directors and partners on all corporate tax issues relating to sales, purchase and or mergers etc.
Work with clients in relation to R&D tax and prepare associated claims.

**The Requirements
**Ideally we are seeking an ATT/CTA qualified accountant however we would consider applicants who have not sat specific tax qualifications but are CA/ACCA qualified. This role will be heavily focused on client interaction and as such we require strongcommunication skills and who can comprehensively provide advice and guidance for their client base. It is essential that applicants have a broad knowledge and practical experience of working within a corporate tax role within practice (in the UK).
