Macildowie are working with an established Education provider based in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Officer on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

The Senior Marketing Officer will oversee all activity for the college including events, relationship building and bespoke offering.

They will have a strategic approach to schools liaison within the local catchment area and work closely with key authoritiesand educational stakeholders including the Midland Academies Trust.


The role:


  • Support the promotion of the full time course offer of the College
  • To generate reports in order to monitor progress towards targets, to demonstrate impact and identify areas of success and areas for improvement
  • Be part of a highly driven team that engages schools and colleges on a regular basis to promote all that the College has offer to students directly and school staff members and parents.
  • Create and deliver inspirational and aspirational presentations at assemblies, public speaking skills are essential. You will also attend various other events such as Options Evenings and Parents Evenings, meaning you may frequently work outofhours on these occasions you will be expected to amend your working day i.e., start later and finish later.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service standards will be required at all times and the post holder will be a strong advocate for technical and professional education
  • Raising the profile of all campuses
  • Assisting with the production of high quality recruitment and promotional materials
  • Support 'Keeping Warm' activities during the course of the academic year
  • Planning and booking in activities and events for future weeks/months/academic years
  • Identifying additional schools where increasing market share of school population is feasible
  • Experience in a similar role is essential
  • Experience of working with external organisations and partners effectively
  • Ability to use initiative and be able to prioritise work in a pressured environment
  • Experience of customer/account management
  • CIM qualification (has or is working towards)
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships well
