Aquacut Limited is recruiting for two positions for an exciting new venture recently established near the village of Byley. Nearest towns are Holmes Chapel, three miles and Northwich seven miles. The senior position is Brick Cutting Supervisor, while the junior position is Brick Cutting Operator (see separate advert)

Aquacut Limited is a small business with factories in Cheshire.

We specialise in serving the landscape, tiling and building contracting sectors by creating functional and attractive building finishes made from customers' porcelain, stone and bricks.

We are fun, innovative and creative and we really value people who take a pride in the quality of their work.

We are looking for a Supervisor to head up a small team dedicated to cutting bricks and brick slips with an industrial machine.

A natural ability with tools and read/work to straightforward job specifications is a must.

From time to time, you be required to work from our main factory at Appleton, Warrington, so having your own transport is a necessity.

Full training will be given.

You will be expected to work within a small team working mainly with bricks/brick slips, but may also be fabricating from porcelain tiles, stone, metal and assorted materials to create unique pieces.

Aquacut uses a range of machines and tools.

Formal educational attainment and experience is not necessary as full training will be provided but the right person will be;
- confident in operating industrial equipment, hand tools and fabrication techniques - full training will be given,
- practical with a good ability to write legibly (for example, completing Job Cards),
- have good common sense,
- have a strong awareness of their surroundings,
- possess the ability to work on their own initiative, but thrive in a small team environment,
- driving licence is a must as a small amount of driving may be required,
- we generally work Monday to Friday, but weekend working may be available, depending on business needs.

Job Types:
Permanent. 40 hour week

Salary:
£26,500 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of facility personnel.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Coordinate and manage the daily activities of facility personnel.
Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed at all times.
Ensure that all required documents are available for review by facility personnel.
Ensure that daily schedules are being followed.
Ensure that daily production and quality standards are being met.
Maintain a positive attitude and a high level of performance on the job.
Other duties as assigned by management.
