    Job Description:

    We are seeking a Quality Management Specialist to support our client’s Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Capability, which includes a CAMO approved by the UK Military Aviation Authority (MAA). This role is based in Birmingham and involves ensuring compliance and quality assurance within the CAMO through a robust quality management system.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Oversee the compliance and effectiveness of all CAMO functions in accordance with RA 49004974 (MRP Part M).
    2. Audit core and non-core CAMO processes, ensuring staff competence, verifying adherence to the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), and monitoring subcontracted maintenance tasks.
    3. Validate procedural changes, sample outputs, and liaise with maintenance organisations and delivery teams.
    4. Evaluate annual compliance checks, manage Waivers, Exemptions and Alternatives, and maintain accurate records.
    5. Support the development and implementation of quality management procedures, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements.
    6. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience in quality management or a related field, preferably in an aerospace or defence environment.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, such as those outlined in RA 49004974 (MRP Part M).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate quality risks.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
