Job Opportunity:
Teaching Assistant

Location:
Allerton, Liverpool

Position Type:
Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with class teachers to implement engaging and effective teaching and learning activities.
  • Contribute to the development and preparation of creative and inclusive learning resources.
  • Provide support for individual and small group learning activities, catering to the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies to ensure a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance the overall success of the classroom and school community.
  • Offer valuable feedback to teachers regarding student progress and engagement.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions effectively.
  • Patient and nurturing approach toward supporting students' learning.
  • Familiarity with basic classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
