CMA are partnering with a global manufacturing business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Financial Controller to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing global businessand develop you career whilst reporting into a forward thinking Finance Director.

The role would suit a technically skilled individual who possesses excellent communication and business partnering skills.


What will the Financial Controller role involve?

  • Responsibility for accurate and timely completion of all statutory reporting.
  • Responsibility for all tax issues and reporting on Corporation tax, EC sales, VAT returns, and Intrastat.
  • Delivery of all quarterly reporting along with reconciliations quarterly.
  • Line management of the transactional finance team.
  • Full responsibility of cash forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Lead the annual Audit managing relationship and acting as primary contact.
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
  • Previous experience in an external reporting role.
  • Experience in UKGAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience of preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax and multicurrency cash forecasting.
  • Previous management experience.
