Trainee Estate Agent - Lettings

Egham, Surrey, TW20

5 days per week; Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 6.30pm, Friday, 8:45am to 6:00pm, Saturday (on rota basis) 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Starting salary up to £17,000 per annum, depending upon experience

PLUS uncapped commission scheme, OTE in first year approx. £30,000 - £35,000

PLUS Company Car - BMW Mini (unbranded)

Requirements:


The main responsibility of a Lettings Consultant is to build a pipeline of completed lets, by understanding the needs and requirements of landlords, and qualifying tenants in order to match them to the right property and negotiating the terms.

You will be expected to;

  • Build relationships with clients to establish trust and rapport
  • Generate & conduct a targeted number of viewings for residential properties
  • Convert viewings to offers and then negotiate the lets of residential properties in sufficient quantity to meet agreed performance targets and to generate market appraisals
  • Negotiate offers to complete the deals
  • Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the process & build long standing successful relationships
  • Proven working experience in any sales environment with a strong record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • A basic understanding of the residential lettings sector would be desirable
  • Ambitious person, motivated to keep learning about the property industry and develop their skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of team, with strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to listen, and maintain regular communication with clients and colleagues
  • Tenacious and resilient with a drive to succeed
  • Pleasant and trustworthy manner
  • Confident IT skills, able to work on Microsoft and bespoke programs with accuracy
  • Full, manual, clean driving licence
