*Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 3.15pm + 1 hour training (Monday after school), 1⁄2 hour team meeting (Thursday after school) and 1⁄2 hour unpaid lunch.

We are looking to appoint Higher Level Teaching Assistants who are motivated and friendly, with a passion for improving outcomes and life experiences for our pupils in the school with SLD and PMLD needs.

You will:
- have some knowledge about SEND
- be passionate about ensuring the highest quality learning for children with complex needs and severe learning difficulties
- provide a good role model for students and fellow colleagues
- be prepared to use a range of strategies to support a diverse range of complex needs
- have strong interpersonal skills and innovative techniques are essential
- support each pupil to access a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum differentiated to meet individual needs
- support tasks relating to 'real life' experiences
- be passionate about supporting learning characteristics in pupils
- be able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
- be able to maintain confidentiality
- have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
- have an awareness of Safeguarding
- have a willingness to contribute to the wider school through our curriculum enrichment and extended school offers.
Qualifications:
- SEND Experience (preferable)
- a good level of computer literacy.
