To support this journey, we are currently recruiting for the newly created role of Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, who will join the newly formed Business Improvement & Change function, a team that is central to delivering valuable business change.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives, you will also support the essential delivery of regulatory reports.

It is essential you have great attention to detail, can work on your initiative and are comfortable with delivering at pace.

The role is based at our Doxford Park, Sunderland head office.

This newly created role would suit a data professional who is passionate about delivering value through actionable insights.

You will have experience in leveraging data to deliver rich, user-centred reports via platforms such as Power BI or Qlik and enjoy the end-to-end process of report development.

You will be a critical partner to all functions across the group and play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making.

You should enjoy working with a range of stakeholders and have robust communication skills that help you elicit reporting requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.


What we are looking for:

Experience working in a dedicated Data Analyst / BI Analyst role in a highly regulated industry.
Excellent data analysis skills, ability to analyse and solve problems often with a degree of ambiguity.
Strong SQL, Excel, Power BI & DAX. Hands-on experience in developing end-user reports.
Experience in supporting regulatory reporting; and understanding of the criticality of industry-related submissions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. Experience in working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
