Job description:
Primary purpose of the role
To work collaboratively with Operations Managers and Customers to deliver accuracy on Inventory Stock Holding across multi customer, sites, in line with Customer KPIs.
Key accountability areas
1 -Actively work to:
Build relationships of trust between Customers and Operations Managers
Review and plan space Capacity at Raunds based on Forecasts
Working with the Customer and Management Team to ensure strategic plan is aligned to customer contractual targets and manage expectations.
Demonstrate Project Management and assist with Site Projects from an Inventory perspective.
Reduce Pick Walks to improve productivity. tasks to Ensure are completed within the Team
Identify dead / obsolete stock
Identify and remove EOL o Manage and monitor BBD
Reduce Damages o Introduce best practise for managing any Promotional activity
Ensure that SUSPENSE is investigated and reduced
Ensure PI Schedule is achieved for each Customer,Free Space Checks are achieved, monitored, recorded and investigated
Ensure Pick faces are available for all current SKUs
Ensure all Hazardous Goods are held in correct area
Ensure that the Operation always runs smoothly with Locked Inventory prioritised and investigated each day.
Promote the efficiencies of Inventory
Promote Safe Ways of Working and H&S
Be involved with Operational Meetings and Briefings
Provide a daily, weekly and Monthly Summary of activities.
Monitor, measure and report all Adjustments.
Ensure all Team Leaders and Controllers are given the right tools and encouragement to complete tasks and progress.
Complete Appraisals on an annual basis.
2Monitor and review Training matrix, identify Training requirements and completed to minimise gaps in skill sets across shifts / contracts.
3 Work with the Operation to identify and reduce any Operational Errors that affect Stock Accuracy and Customer Satisfaction.
4Assist in the preparation of Customer Stock Takes as required and implementation
General responsibilities
- Understand and comply with all relevant Company rules, agreements, policies, procedures and with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice.
- Ensure Company business is treated in the strictest confidence and not disclosed to persons outside the Company.
- Act in a professional manner, ensure good working relationships are always maintained and promote a good image of the Company
- Maintain and comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards, to be aware of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System, OHSAS18001 and to appreciate the responsibility you have to adhere to the respective procedures.
- Be aware that the Company operates a Quality Assurance system ISO 9001:2008 and adhere to the respective procedures.
- Ensure a good standard of housekeeping through observance of relevant Company policies and ensure that work areas are secure and locked when unoccupied.
- Where appropriate challenge and determine reasons for presence on site of any unauthorised person.
- Attend any development training as required in compliance with the Company's commitment to the Investors in People standard.

You
An independent thinker who will communicate well and report accurately and effectively to Management and Customers. Able to work under pressure and be able to prioritize workload and tasks. Must be able to ensure tasks are thoroughly investigated and closedeffectively. Flexible with working hours to provide cover on alternative Shifts and weekend working required too.
Education & Qualifications
4 GSCE'S or equivalent
Related qualification to Business / Inventory / Finance
Experience
Over 2 years of experience within a fast-paced Inventory environment at Management Level
3 years of experience within a 3PL.
Working knowledge of tasks listed above and awareness of importance.
Demonstrative Project Management.
Working with stock across more than 1 site (external storage)

JDA - Key User (Red Prairie)
Analytical Skills - LEAN/Six Sigma Awareness
SQL JDA Database Efficient
Experience of using Power BI

People Development and Team Building / leading Skills
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
