Up to £38k DOE
This is an office based role covering a shift rotation including some weekends and nights. Benefits of this is that after every 4 week rotation you get 7 days off
Based at their offices in rural Sittingbourne it is essential for this role that you have your own transport. My client is an established and leading MSP dealing with larger clients than many of their competitors. They are now looking for a 2nd / 3rd line Engineer,ideally with some level of Infrastructure experience. There is a shift rotation for this role including some weekends and nights.

They would be particularly interested in speaking to Support Engineers with MSP experience but more important than this is finding 2nd / 3rd line engineers used to working in busy customer focussed environments encountering many different technologies.

IncludingMS Server, Desktop, Active Directory and Networking skills

This role is perfect for experienced engineers who are now looking to take their career forward with an employer who can offer and values education and training.

The training opportunities are extensive and currently engineers are undertaking the followingcourses and exams:
MS 365 Admin, MS 365 Bundle (MS SharePoint), Windows Server , Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Watchguard, CompTIA A+901, CompTIA A+902, Network, Security, PowerShell, Veeam, Google for Education, G Suite Exam, Microsoftfor Education, Trend, Libra, PRTG, ESET


Requirements:


  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • A cando attitude with strong customer services skills.
  • A calm and patient manner whilst working under pressure.
  • Previous experience working in a service desk role either with a service provider or within a
- corporate environment.

  • A Microsoft Server MCP Exam would be preferred.
  • You must be able to demonstrate proven abilities in the support and installation of a variety of IT
- solutions.

It is also essential to have a working knowledge and practical experience of the following:


  • Microsoft Desktop & Office Systems
  • Microsoft Server and Virtualisation Technologies
  • Active Directory Security and Administration, GPO
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Support of hardware, printers, desktops and servers
  • Networking knowledge regarding WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, WLAN, layer 2/3 switching, Firewalls and routers.
  • Mobile devices/phones.
