Description
We're recruiting for a
Head of Distribution Partnerships to join us.

This is a unique role which will allow you to be front and centre with all the major FS Providers as the "capability delivery expert," understanding their corporate strategy, product sets and distribution model, defining joint KPIs and building appropriate, data led strategies using our market leading services embedded in our Partner Portal.


You will lead the execution of our consultancy services for major strategic partners that engage with our data led distribution consultancy service, ensuring we demonstrate return on investment for our partners and their continued engagement with our consultancy led commercial model.


In this role you'll also work closely with the wider distribution services team to ensure fulfilment of all partner requirements across marketing services, outsourced distribution, Insights, and co-manufacturing and be the face of investment distribution services across SimplyBiz, providing expert input into the development and delivery of our intermediary services (including technology, research, and events) and translating these into distribution services for partners.

This role will require frequent travel to London, Edinburgh, Huddersfield and other UK wide locations as required. The salary for this role is up to £100,000 per annum.


In this role you'll
***:

  • Take ownership of all investment strategic partnerships, building a strong relationship with stakeholders across the customer base and ensuring complete understanding of the priorities and strategies of those companies
  • Translate the needs of investment firms into partnership agreements that deliver growing, on target revenues for our core marketing services, including all group events, marketing communications channels and outsourced distribution opportunities
  • Lead the delivery of SAA Licencing agreements with investment firms including:
  • Ensure the smooth delivery, in partnership with Hymans, of the investment service to licensees
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the promotion and delivery of our SAA service to Intermediaries across all channels, with the aim of growing AUM
  • Work with events and Distribution Services colleagues to lead the development of content across all investmentoriented events across Intermediary services, including Investment Forums, conferences and specialist workshops

What you need to succeed:


  • Broad experience of distributing varied investment solutions into the UK retail financial advice markets, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing manufacturers in this market
  • A demonstrable track record of diverse account management with a diverse product/service offerings across the retail investment market
  • You're selfdisciplined, driven and possess an entrepreneurial spirit. You're able to make things happen and get things done even when the obvious solution isn't clear
  • You possess both the professional credibility and interpersonal skills to navigate the spectrum of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • You're willing to travel frequently to London, Edinburgh, Huddersfield and other UK wide locations as required
  • You have a full driving licence
