ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report on project progress. Understand key performance indicators, project controls, and metrics.
  • Ensure full integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with construction.
  • Produce integrated tender programmes, logistic plans, method statements and present proposals at settlement meetings.
  • Review programme effectiveness of changes and advise of any delay issues.
  • Produce schedules and analyse quotes for project equipment and machinery.
  • Participate in multiple projects, supporting live and tender projects, manage a successful completion with mínimal supervision,
  • Mentor and advise less experienced planners including our trainee planners
  • Managing risk

ABOUT YOU

You are.

  • Experienced of working on large budget Construction developments.
  • A confident communicator, who enjoys liaising with a range of clients, professionals, and employees on site.
  • Familiar with commonly used forms of construction contracts, including NEC
  • Aware of a variety of performance measurement techniques, such as Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value, Analysis and use of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office and have knowledge of relevant building methods and project management software to manage information and finances during the project.
  • A leader with the ability to motivate your team to become high performing.
  • Highly organised, with an ability to write and monitor project plans, schedules and utilise time and resources effectively.
  • Analytical with a good level of numeracy.
  • Calm under pressure with an ability to overcome unexpected challenges during the construction process and effectively problem solve.
  • Able to make decisions under pressure, ensuring projects will progress on time to schedule and within budget.
  • Commercially aware, with an ability to allocate and manage your budget effectively and understand client concerns.
