ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities

Manage and report on project progress. Understand key performance indicators, project controls, and metrics.
Ensure full integration of design and procurement elements of programmes with construction.
Produce integrated tender programmes, logistic plans, method statements and present proposals at settlement meetings.
Review programme effectiveness of changes and advise of any delay issues.
Produce schedules and analyse quotes for project equipment and machinery.
Participate in multiple projects, supporting live and tender projects, manage a successful completion with mínimal supervision,
Mentor and advise less experienced planners including our trainee planners

ABOUT YOU

You are.

Experienced of working on large budget Construction developments.
A confident communicator, who enjoys liaising with a range of clients, professionals, and employees on site.
Familiar with commonly used forms of construction contracts, including NEC
Aware of a variety of performance measurement techniques, such as Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value, Analysis and use of Key Performance Indicators.
Confident in the use of Microsoft Office and have knowledge of relevant building methods and project management software to manage information and finances during the project.
A leader with the ability to motivate your team to become high performing.
Highly organised, with an ability to write and monitor project plans, schedules and utilise time and resources effectively.
Analytical with a good level of numeracy.
Calm under pressure with an ability to overcome unexpected challenges during the construction process and effectively problem solve.
Able to make decisions under pressure, ensuring projects will progress on time to schedule and within budget.
Commercially aware, with an ability to allocate and manage your budget effectively and understand client concerns.
