Trainee Researcher:
Quantitative and Qualitative (Swansea)

  • Permanent role with an immediate start_
  • Annual salary starting from £20,500 to £22,500 per year_
  • 37 days paid holidays_
  • Initially based in our Swansea office, but hybrid office/home working will be considered following probationary period_


The role will involve designing questionnaires and other research materials, undertaking depth interviews and report writing, as well as providing wider support across a range of quantitative and qualitative research projects.

Colleagues will be expected to make an immediate contribution, providing individual support on small projects and working as part of a wider team on larger projects.


  • General awareness of a range of social research and statistical methods
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Confidence in working with numbers, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prepare appropriate tables and charts, and describe statistics using plain English
  • Selfmotivation with a flexible and adaptable approach, being organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Be computer literate with familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
