Main duties of the job To provide administrative support for statutory information sharing of children / young peoples presentations to the acute hospital services with all appropriate multiagency partners who may be supporting the child/ young person / family at that time.

To use Trust IT systems to identify any referrals that have been generated for the Paediatric Liaison Team. To populate the relevant proformas for internal Trust/ multiagency information sharing; such as Paed Liaison/MASH/MARAC.

To complete and maintain an up to date monitoring systems for all operational duties, where applicable, supporting quality assurance of Paediatric Liaison and Safeguarding Children operational business.

To print and scan referrals, minutes and other information onto WinDip. To send filing to medical records on a daily basis. Support audit process for Paediatric Liaison service and wider Safeguarding Children service, as directed by Safeguarding Admin. Answering the telephone and directing calls to most appropriate person.

To contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies, their implementation and continual review.

To participate in team meetings and provide support for the Admin Lead and wider Safeguarding Admin Team, as and when required.

Any other reasonable duties to support the Paediatric Liaison service information sharing, as required.

Detailed job description and responsibilities To be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with Acute and Community staff Nursing staff Medical personnel such as Consultant Paediatricians Admin and clerical staff Ancillary Staff Be able to prioritise and manage your own workload.

The nature of the work can be unpredictable, time management skills are required. Analytical and judgement To work under the direction of the Safeguarding Admin Lead and the Named Nurse for Safeguarding.

Responsibility and accountability To be aware of confidentiality and data protection Responsibility for patients and client care Responsibility to record accurate and up to date patient information Policy and service responsibility To be aware of and update knowledge of hospital policies and procedures from the Trust intranet.

To have clear understanding and knowledge of information governance responsibilities.
