Scope:
Supervise and coordinate bottling operations at Newbridge, including BRD products and third party bottling. Lead and develop a mixed team of employees and temporary workers to achieve budgeted annual production volumes.
Basic Function:
Supervise and coordinate bottling operations to safely produce the highest quality product possible, maximize levels of production and control cost to budget.
Responsibilities:
Production / Safety / Quality / Environmental:
- Ensures reliability and consistency of production, product quality, governmental compliance, employee safety, and environmental impact.
- Ensures the efficient utilization of bottling operations to produce high quality products within the prescribed standard operating procedures for safety, quality, cost, environmental, and compliance. Plans, directs and ensures controls of all bottling operations.
- In collaboration with the CI Leader, directs the review and evaluation of operating practices and procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency of production.
- Drive safety initiatives. Ensure that safe working conditions exist and that all programs and policies are effectively implemented and practiced.
- Ensure compliance with BF quality policies, standards, and systems.
Leadership / Planning / Administration:
- Provide leadership and vision to the bottling operation to meet short and longterm operating objectives. Accomplish bottling objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and result measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making midcourse corrections.
- Increases management's effectiveness by orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and holding team members accountable; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job performance results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing developmental opportunities.
- In partnership with the Production Manager and Planning & Dry Goods Manager develop production schedule to meet targets.
- Supports accurate and timely documentation reporting and SAP administration.
- Builds company image by collaborating with employees and customers, following and enforcing ethical business practices.
