Uniquely placed, we provide technical, regulatory & consultancy support to our clients through 4R Environmental Consultants and contract delivery & management via 4R Recycling. A range of farm support services are provided direct to the farming community by 4R Reassurance.

4R Group are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to help us deliver a first-class recycling service to our customers. The role is to drive one of our Class 1 Vehicles collecting and delivering waste products to a wide variety of agricultural and disposal locations in the region.

The successful candidate will have experience driving HGV's and, whilst reporting to our Transport Manager, will be able to work flexibly and independently with support from our operational teams. Applicants should be willing to tramp on occasion, depending on operational needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities – What you need to do.

• Completing daily deliveries in accordance with agreed transport schedules
• Loading and unloading liquid fertilisers, always using correct equipment and supervision of activity
• Excellent communication and liaison with field staff, site staff and 4R transport management to ensure smooth running of operations and deliveries.
• Carrying out all duties in a professional manner
• Following safety and operational procedures in accordance with 4R and customer site policies, including health and safety procedures, loading procedures, spill response and emergency procedures
• Smart and professional appearance at all times, including use of appropriate 4R Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
• Completion of all necessary compliance paperwork in a timely manner
• Mainly day work but occasional nights out may be required.

Personal Specification – What you should have.

Qualifications

• Full Clean UK Class 1 Driving Licence

Skills/Knowledge

• Minimum 1 years' experience operating a walking floor preferred
• Minimum 1 years' experience driving Class 1 HGV's
• Experience in recycling transport would be a strong advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
• Flexible and adaptable work ethic

Pay and Benefits

Salary - £14.66 per hour (paid weekly)

Allowance - £25 overnight expense allowance

Bonus - £100 Attendance bonus paid 4 weekly

Holiday - 28 days including bank holidays

Other Benefits - Pension, Company funded CPC ongoing training/renewal
