The role

As a Data Science and Machine Learning Manager, you can expect to provide Assurance to those charged with governance, serving the public interest
.Within this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside leading experts, as we helpbuild and enhance trust between businesses and the public, by responding to emerging issues and protecting the public interest.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

Assessing the risks and underlying processes, providing conclusions as to which risks are being managed and mitigated in line with the business' appetite for risk.
Highquality and transparent reporting on data use and compliance with data handling
Providing data analytics/data science services using software such as Python/R, Azure, Databricks/other ML services, SQL, Tableau, Power BI to deliver meaningful insights to our clients and help them to understand the risks and key drivers for their business.
Reviewing existing internal and thirdparty data science and cloud solutions.
Development and delivery of new and innovative data science and machine learning tools and solutions to support evolving audit and assurance needs.

Your skills and experience

Strong problemsolving skills, and capable of generating original solutions to realworld problems.
Experience in coaching junior data scientists/analysts
Experience delivering data science and machine learning projects for the financial industry or large/complex organisations.
Deep knowledge in a range of machine learning techniques.
Experience in using Python (pandas, numpy, scikitlearn)
Background working with cloud environments
Azure and AWS preferred
