The Materials Coordinator will be expected to perform material management activities of stock held at our storage sites.

These include but are not limited to, identifying materials required by offshore platforms as per requests, developing and updating material masters held in SAP and executing transportation requirements.

In addition to this, you will ensure the correct processes are followed correctly and safely dispose of materials identified for removal from inventory within this position.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Identification of materials, as well as creating and updating material masters within SAP MM
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, mark up and store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Liaise with onshore and offshore Supervisors/personnel to identify requirements that can be filled by materials held in the warehouse
  • Good housekeeping skills, whilst also taking responsibility as key holder for storage sites
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

  • A proven track record within warehouse operations materials management within the supply chain logistics industry
  • Product knowledge in relation to gas productions spares
  • Customer focused and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internal and external.
  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fastpaced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
  • Ability to work standalone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
  • Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications

  • 05T Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate
  • IOSH Managing Safely
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies

  • HASAWA/LOLER/PUWER Awareness
  • COSHH Awareness
  • CCU Packing
  • Dangerous Goods by Sea (IMDG)
