Position Summary:


To ensure the efficient running of all aspects of the Accounts Payable process whilst assisting the Finance team to provide a comprehensive Finance and Accounting Service.

To ensure efficient running of Reception and associated duties.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintenance of the Accounts Payable Ledger to ensure efficient processing of invoices for timely payment.
  • Resolving invoice queries.
  • General reception duties

Main Duties:

The duties may include but are not exclusive to:_

Accounts Payable:_

  • Daily input into IFS of supplier invoices received.
  • Matching of invoices to the goods received notes (GRNI's) and the purchase order.
  • Resolving all invoicing queries with the suppliers, procurement and TOUK requisitioners in a timely manner.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, identifying any differences and resolving.
  • Dealing with supplier telephone and written queries.
  • Daily review of preliminary invoice report.
  • Resolve debit balances on accounts payable ledger as advised by the Financial Controller.
  • Review aged creditors and resolve any issues as advised by the Financial Controller.

Reception:_

  • Answer telephone calls.
  • Deal with LFC Season Tickets.
  • Book Hire Cars and raise requisitions.
  • Order lunches and taxis as required.
  • Direct visitors when arrive at reception.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for visitors
  • Undertake any other duties as given by the Financial Accountant.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Operate in a high volume Accounts Payable Team, preferably in a manufacturing ERP environment.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow colleagues and external suppliers.
  • Organise and prioritise a busy workload.
  • Resolve purchase invoice queries with suppliers and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel to Intermediate Level.

Education:


  • GCSE in Maths and English
