Description

We have partnered with a well-funded London startup who are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join their team.

What will I be doing?
Lots of greenfield work on their core, customer-facing product. This product is aiming to improve peoples' lives by curating unique travel experiences for an under-served market.

What's the tech stack?

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • GraphQL
  • Google Cloud Platform
No experience necessary with any of these technologies, but you have to be happy working across the whole stack.

Paint the picture a bit more for me, Joe
There's a CTO, Engineering Manager, and 2 Senior Engineers there already. You'll be the first of squad #2 so expect to land, integrate, then split off.

A positive engineering culture is important here so you should be happy coding with the next engineer in-mind, being responsible for the testing of your code, and being given the freedom to solve problems.

What's in it for me?
The successful Full Stack Engineer will receive up to £120,000, 25 days holiday, private healthcare, 5% matched pension, and more

Visa sponsorship available, if required.

I'm interested - what is the interview process?

You'll meet with the CTO firstly for an introductory call where you can learn more about the role and share your relevant experience.

Next up is the main technical stage which is a 2 hour session with the CTO. You'll be building functions in a language of your choice.

Finally, you'll meet another stakeholder to give you a wider view of the business.

What does hybrid mean to this company?
Mostly remote, with meetings in London every 6~ weeks. If you're overseas, your accommodation will be paid for, but you'll need to cover travel costs.

Well, what are you waiting for?
Nothing, hopefully But if you do have questions, feel free to get in touch.
