Family owned manufacturing organisation (established 1983) requires an experienced Administration Assistant to join their rapidly expanding company.As Administration Assistant you will be providing administrative support to Accounts/Office Manager, acting as first point of contact for customer enquiries within a busy manufacturing environment.
The role of Administration Assistant is offered on a permanent contract basis with competitive salary, pension and early finish Fridays.
Administration Assistant duties include:
- Point of contact for visitors
- Directing calls to appropriate personnel
- Logging customer orders on company scheduling system
- Maintaining schedule and processing orders
- Accounts administration support
- Maintaining filing systems, office policies and procedures
- Ad hoc duties as requested
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (advantageous, not essential)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems e.g. SAP (advantageous, not essential)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Flexible attitude
Location:
Alcester, Warwickshire
Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7:00 - 16:00 and Friday 7:00 - 13:00
Salary:
£20,800 p.a. to £22,880 p.a. dependent upon experience
