About the role:


We have a great opportunity for a Procurement Process and Policy Lead to join our procurement team here in Birmingham.

Within this role you will be responsible for the development, operational management and compliance of the procurement processes and systems used in the firm including (but not limited to) Procure to Pay, Supplier On boarding and Contract Management ensuring that the use and business benefits of these processes and systems are maximised with a focus on an ongoing programme of development and benefits realisation.

The Process and Policy Lead must effectively maintain, communicate and continuously improve the policies and processes, guiding procurement colleagues and internal stakeholders to adhere and drive these to the maximum value.


_Known as the backbone of the firm, Operations is the central hub with a number of diverse teams who all have a keen focus on service delivery. _

About you:


We are looking for someone who has significant relevant experience within a procurement role in a service-delivery focussed organisation demonstrating strong analytical skills and ability to develop policy and procedures for procurement processes.

To this role you will bring strong project management and stakeholder management skills with proven experience of the management, operation and use of electronic procurement systems.


Within this role you will be responsible for the end to end procurement process and therefore it is vital you understand the use and development of flow charts.

You will need to ensure excellent organisational, professionalism and communication skills as you will be focused on maintaining all policy and process documentation, ensuring that these process are understood by each of the business units along with ensuring that all the business units are also compliant with the process.


Desirable Skillset:


  • MCIPS or a Degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Supply Management or Finance would be advantageous, but not essential. _
