£45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday-Friday

Role Purpose
My client is a large and leading Insurance group that is seeking a
Credit Control and Accounts Manager to effectively lead, motivate and develop their Accounts & Credit Control teams.
The successful
Credit Control and Accounts manager will ensure that KPIs are consistently met to achieve business plan objectives and financial targets.
They will develop excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersand deliver a "best in class" service to both customers, and the relevant business areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead the divisional team to deliver a "best in class" accounts, credit control and billing service to each of the Broking brands.
- Create an environment where the team are motivated and engaged, by demonstrating role model behaviour
- Measure, analyse and report on team and individual productivity, current working practices and KPI's
- Develop a performance orientated culture, enabling all staff to contribute effectively and be continually motivated to achieve business goals
- Understand the commercial and financial impact of individual and team performance
- Deliver efficiency and effectiveness improvements throughout areas of responsibility
- Understand team and individual productivity, setting targets to deliver KPIs through effective performance coaching and management
- Be proactive in identifying operational issues and proposing solutions/changes that will positively address
- Manage the delivery of SLA and FCA requirements ensuring operational targets and customer standards
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met and deadlines achieved
- Liaise with external stakeholders to promote and maintain effective working relationships
- Manage and embed departmental protocols and guidelines
- Establish and maintain effective communication and develop strong relationships with all colleagues and customers, promoting a professional business image
- Ensure any complaints are handled efficiently and effectively, taking appropriate action to address issues raised
- Demonstrate good customer service skills in all dealings whilst continually promoting the company's vision, values and culture
- Commit to own personal development and provide support, mentoring and guidance to others as required
Essential Skills
- Excellent people leader able to motivate and develop colleagues at all levels
- Previous leadership experience in either an accounts, credit control, or similar operational team
- Used to working in a regulated environment
- Experience of leading multisited teams
- Effective communicator able to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products
- A working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
