Transport Administrator Assistant
- Liaise with our current transport management team to manage the current fleet
- Nurture & maintain ongoing relationships with drivers, suppliers and customers
- Respond to daily operational queries from drivers
- Update daily data input, creating and maintaining spreadsheets regarding collection information and driver data
- General office administration
- Support marketing and other campaigns
- Support accounting functions
- Tachograph Analysis
- Booking vehicles in for inspections, repairs and routine servicing.
- Maintaining spreadsheet with all vehicles details and logging individual vehicle history
- Maintain wall planner for HGV fleet.
- Printing and filing inspection sheets chasing missing inspection reports
- Managing staff holidays
- Monitoring fuel intake vs. mileage vs. adblue usage
- Monitoring drivers' hours through Tachomaster software
- Updating vehicle and driver details on Crate software
- Managing defect reporting system
- Managing wheel torque system
- Periodic driving licence checks
- Accepting visitors to site inducting visitors and contractors to site
THE CANDIDATE
- Experience in administration role
- Prefreably with Tachomaster and Pre Drive Software packages
- Strong organisational, written & verbal communication skills
- Track record in customer service
- Transport and Logistics experience
- Prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines and expectations on time
- Good numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- PC Literate mainly Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Outlook, experience with Google Sheets
- Strong Commercial acumen with attention to detail
- Communicate effectively and concisely at all levels
- Dynamic and able to cope with pace and change
- Excellent time keeping and attendance
- Team player
