Permanent, Monday to Friday

Purpose:

Our client, a market leading Truck and Trailer Rental business are currently recruiting.

The role is to maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the Heavy Goods trailers or the company and its customers own assets at customer sites, workshops or roadside.

Their well-maintained and equipped maintenance facilities and service vans, ensure you will have the right tools to best serve their customers.


Responsibilities:


  • To inspect, service and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures and mandatory EHS legislation
  • To ensure all compliance details are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • To undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be a "Time Served" technician or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience and have a technical background/experience in trailer repairs

  • Welding experience preferable
  • Double deck maintenance experience preferable
  • High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills
  • Initiative to work autonomously if required.

£38,000 - £44,000 basic dependent on experience/qualifications

£500 Joining fee - payable after 12mths service.

  • Great opportunity for overtime at time and a half, Sundays and BH are paid at double time with a day in lieu also given for BH working.
  • Permanent fulltime 10 hour shift, Mon-Fri with 30 mins paid break per day and 1 hr per day unpaid lunch break.
