My fantastic and well established client are on a mission to make zero carbon commuting a reality. They produce ground-breaking climate tech empowering large employers to measure, reduce and report on their commuter emissions.
Due to exciting expansion, they are now recruiting another Account Director to be part of their journey
As an Account Director, you will be responsible for initiating new client relationships and completing the initial sale process.

Your primary focus is to ensure that their large employer target clients and target industries are engaged with their solutionsand services, ensuring that commercially strong relationships are established and of course aligned to their client's operational and sustainability objectives.

Responsible for an assigned set of target industries, you will be the internal owner of those named industries, meaning you are the person ultimately accountable within the business for growing their penetration in those industries.

You will be responsible for closing deals with new clients that align to their mission, finding deals that have strong potential for CO2 savings and you will be commercially focused on driving ARR and revenue.

Must haves are a commercial mind with strong negotiation skills, with the ability to have a strong pipeline leading to those closed deals

You will be used to being accountable for the sales cycle from sourcing contacts and initiating sales, to pitching, demo-ing, producing proposals, negotiating, contractual arrangements through to a closed sale.

Who are you?

  • Significant experience in sales development in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of commercial success and commercially focused with the confidence to work to KPIs and targets, including examples of how you "raise the bar".
  • Computer literate (for internal processes need to be confident with Office365 suite) and comfortable with explaining/demoing technology to clients.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar with the ability to present to and communicate with clients at all levels together with strong verbal communication skills, a listener and a presenter.
  • You will be enthusiastic about being the 'face of' the brand and will have excellent time management capabilities.


Desirable would include experience in sustainability and environment,experience of selling enterprise SAAS and an understanding of or passion for behavioural change.

A full UK driving licence is ideal but not essential.
