The Role
The role is for an Divisional Director within our Financial Solutions Credit & Political Risk team, based in London.

This role will involve working in a team focussing on a broad base of UK and International financial institution clients.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Liaising with clients on new transactions, drafting of term sheets and broking risks to Lloyd's syndicates and Company markets
Providing clear, timely and accurate communications between clients and markets whilst working to tight timeframes
Working with current clients to review their existing programmes and wordings, presenting possible improvements, solutions and enhancing client outcomes
Working with prospective and new clients to develop their insurance buying strategy, presenting this alongside clients to the markets as well as internal stakeholders
Negotiation of policy wordings and premium schedules
Assist with the daytoday management and administration of the client portfolio, including issuing midterm adjustments and amendments.
Offer assistance and advice to team members as required
Assist with the execution of the FI strategy working in collaboration with the other FI teams as well as external stakeholders

Responsibilities

Educated to degree level. ACII qualification preferable but not essential
Ability to speak a second language preferable but not essential
Knowledge of Non-Payment Insurance and bank loan facilities and existing market experience in this class
Be able to assist in preparation of proposals and presentations using marketing resources, practice groups and other producers
Working knowledge of Market Reform Contracts
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Be able to maintain facetoface and telephone contact with clients and Underwriters
Problem solving and decisionmaking skills essential
Excellent communication (written, verbal, oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential
Must be able to work in a fastpaced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, selfmotivation and decisionmaking skills are crucial
