Global Membership Organisation

2 Days Central London Office, 3 Days Home

Basic Salary £50,000-55,000 dependant on experience with an excellent benefits package 28 days holiday with additional 3 days at managerial discretion, Annual bonus up to 10% of salary at managerial discretion Generous employer pension contributionof 10%, Health care provision provided by Vitality Health, Life insurance provided by Aviva Life

Our client a global membership organisation with members across Europe, America and Asia is currently looking for a Marketing Manager who will report to Education Director.


We are keen to hear from experienced marketeers, marketing managers who specialise in marketing for membership working for a trade association, professional body, membership organisation, not for profit subscription model, campaigns focused on recruitmentand retention.


The Role of the Marketing Manager
Generating maximum responses to ICGN activities through use of marketing and promotional activity.

To include membership, commercial products, and services (e.g., events, courses) as well as stakeholder engagement activity such as Policy team output.


Key Responsibilities
Create, deliver marketing and promotion plans. Specifically, create multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns to promote: Courses/education, events (in person and online), membership, Policy team output.

Website (promotion and content marketing), direct mail, social media, press release, presence at physical events (e.g., stand, banner)content marketing.

To include regular reporting on campaign and channel impact and effectiveness.


responsible for maintaining the integrity and consistency of the use of institute's brand and 'voice' on all collateral, promotion, and communications.

ensuring stakeholders are equipped to describe and represent the institute appropriately.

To include, but not limited to:
team; board; other members; (event) partners/sponsors; suppliers/contractors.

Oversee and enhance institute database quality in accordance with GDPR in liaison with relevant Team members.


Person Specification
B2b marketing campaign plan development and implementation, across multiple channels. Ideally with experience of (some combination of) membership organisations, live and online events: courses/education: policy team output.

Awareness of current trends and developments in marketing, including data/tracking, the role of social media channels in b2b marketing,

A CIM or similar qualification would be an advantage
