Position:


The Job:

We are looking for a Deputy Team Leader to join our team in East London.


As a Deputy Team Leader you will be supporting and assisting the Team Leader with the day-to-day responsibilities of the Warden Team whilst also maintaining your responsibility of issuing Parking Charge notices to vehicles that do not comply with on-site parking regulations.

The role will involve working outdoors across various car parks in your designated area.

Due to the nature of the role, there will be large amounts of face-to-face interaction with members of the public.

You will work to provide a high-end service to our clients and to support your fellow Operatives.

Due to the locations of the car parks, you must:

  • have a car
- have a valid licence
- be willing to get business insurance to use the car for work.
- enjoy driving is essential as it will be a big part of your day You could drive 300 miles a week.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • To patrol car parks in line with a schedule as a member of the overall team, issuing PCNs where necessary
  • To provide effective and professional training to new starters
  • To ensure you and your team are kept abreast of all changes to the relevant Code of Practices and the wider regulatory framework
  • To ensure high levels of engagement and staff retention within the team
  • To support team members to ensure company/regional KPI targets are being consistently achieved
  • To ensure that exceptional customer service is being maintained for both our customers and clients
  • Acting up responsibilities in absence of the Team Leader:
  • To ensure that the team meet/exceed efficiency levels in line with internal and external guidelines
  • To create and manage patrol schedules for the teams ensuring that there is sufficient coverage in all areas
  • To be the first point of contact for the Wardens in your area
  • To provide first line response for any complaints raised against the compliance or conduct of the Warden Team

Requirements:


We would like someone who has previous team leading or management experience who can help the Team Leader train, assist and run the team across a wide location.

You will be working as a warden as well as assisting the Team Leader, so a willingness to meet targets in your own patrol is key

Location:


The team works in sites across East London in areas such as Stratford, Barking, Dagenham, Romford and Ilford and out across Essex to the coast.


Shifts:

The day time shifts are: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm. The evening shifts are 5pm - 1am, 6pm - 2am, 7pm - 3am or through the night.

We work 24/7 You will work 40 hours a week on a rota basis, 5 days out of 7.


Pay:


The salary is:
£24,856 per annum. There is also a bonus scheme linked to personal performance and a team bonus.

Mileage is paid at 0.25p per mile.
