Borehamwood, Hertfordshire


Salary:
Circa £35,000 pa


Contract:
Permanent

Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with an hour lunch


The Company:
Our well-established, vibrant, and dynamic client are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fun team, within the events and entertainment industry.


Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • AAT Qualified is a must
  • Previous experience with Xero would be beneficial.
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proactive and highly motivated
  • Competent with Microsoft Packages

Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining financial records on Xero.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns and monthly management accounts.
  • Process supplier payments and deal with payment queries.
  • Process staff expenses
  • Sending out client invoices.
  • Weekly credit control, and liaising with clients.
  • Daily bank reconciliations of all transactions.
  • Prepare payroll ahead of sending to the accountant.
  • Rectifying discrepancies with accounts.
  • Support senior management with preparing budgets and statements.
