The role


We have a new Senior People Adviser position available that comes at an exciting time, as you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across People Services to ensure we deliver a consistently excellent service to staff and managers.

You will work closely with your People Business Partner on organisational change, facilitation of organisational design, workforce, and resource planning.

Providing advice and guidance on the most complex or challenging outcomes resulting from the change which affect people.


You will also work with a team of Senior Advisers instilling best practice and consistency by providing first-class ER advice and guidance to line managers and employees in line with policy.


Although this opportunity is aligned to our Milton Keynes campus, we are flexible on location with the understanding that you may be required to work on campus on ad-hoc basis.


Skills and experience

This role will suit you if you:

  • Have a strong working knowledge of current HR legislation, policy and employment law
  • Experience of organisational change
  • Are experienced in answering and managing a diverse range of complex HR queries
  • Possess experience of case management, working regularly to tight deadlines possessing the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Are a confident communicator
