Introduction
The role primarily focusses on the formal gardens.
The position involves a mix of maintenance, design, soft/hard landscaping, sourcing and planting.
There are 2 team members not primarily employed as gardeners but would be available to assist with more involving projects and during the more demanding months.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar position
- A good knowledge of plants, pruning, pest and disease identification
- A good understanding of garden design
- Hard and Soft landscaping experience
- Propagation of plants
- Formal horticulture qualification at least to RHS Level 3 or equivalent
- Positive, hardworking and trustworthy individual
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking and able to work in all types of weather
- Physically fit with excellent teamwork abilities
- Ability to lead at times when working with others
- Fluent in English
- Full clean UK driving license
