Project Administrator - Stone, United Kingdom - Uniting People

£15,000 - £22,500 DOE
Stone
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
This role is based on-site in Stone, with occasional visits to client locations, therefore, driving licence is required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the control and logging of all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including design drawing packs, design modifications, change control requests, BOMs, CEs, resource plan sheets etc.
- Coordinate the compilation of projectrelated documentation in a timely manner
- Perform project related administrative tasks such as photocopying / binding / filing
- Raise Purchase Order requests in accordance with correct purchasing procedure
- Participate in specific project and client meetings when requested and take minutes of meeting
- Take messages / handle all incoming telephone calls in relation to company business
- Act as the project point of contact for travel / accommodation requests
- Coordinate the compilation of projectrelated documentation in a timely manner
- Provide temporary cover for reception / other administrative positions
- Perform any other adhoc duties within skillset
- Compile all project monthly reports and dispatch in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain filing systems
- Assisting Project Managers / Project Engineers with project reports
Key skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous administrationrelated experience in an office environment
- Ability to prioritise workload and set deadlines
- Ability to work within given deadlines as part of a team or individually
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration desirable
- Basic understanding of PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat desirable
- Ideally previous experience working with document control
- General knowledge / understanding of key engineering document types from GAs, design specifications, bill of materials, change requests etc. preferable
- Desire to progress / Cando attitude / Proactive
