Weston Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity for a hybrid role providing educational consistency over Wards and Theatres.

This is a 9 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

The post holder will be expected to primarily work core Monday - Friday hours - This post can be part time or a Job Share.

To provide and maintain a noticeable clinical presence, working alongside nursing and healthcare staff, enabling all staff to achieve their professional objectives.
To provide support and development for the whole nursing workforce within Weston Hospital encompassing wards and theatres.
To assist the Lead Practice Education Facilitator with the development and implementation of programmes of education and training and to maintain a database of staff development.
Provide education and training to multidisciplinary team staff and assist in the delivery of training programmes for nurses to expand their skills.
To facilitate and support staff retention by ensuring clinical support, progressive job satisfaction and opportunities for staff personal development.
Support and facilitate staff to identify opportunities for maintaining and improving standards of patient care.
In collaboration with the Lead Practice Education Facilitator to promote a quality service using research and evidence based practice.
