An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, conscientious and dedicated maintenance craftsperson (Plumbing) to join a team of engineering craftsperson responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing related plant and equipment at buildings maintained by CHoICE Facilities Services.

The role will require the post holder to undertake the role of Competent Person (CP) as defined within Health Technical Memorandum (HTM) 00 for multiple engineer services and support CHoICE to meet its statutory, mandatory and best practice commitments to its existing partners.


Successful applicants will need to have a knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with a detailed knowledge of plumbing related systems typically found within a large NHS Trust.

Completion of a BTEC/ONC, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in plumbing or equivalent is essential as well as the completion of a formally recognised and accredited apprenticeship within a relevant engineering discipline.
