CPL is a leading provider of quality downhole Cable Protection Systems to the oil and gas sector; we are a successful and growing company.

We are currently looking to fill the following vacancy on a full-time, permanent basis.

Material Controller / Storeman

The role involves working alongside existing personnel to ensure the effective management of materials and supplies in a manner that effectively supports the production process.

Duties and responsibilities are likely to include:

The control and care of stock including customer owned goods.
Maintaining accurate stock records including batch numbers and stock locations of all items.
Updating the CPL computer system to maintain real time stock records.
Making the computer entries to record the allocation and issuing of materials used in Production.
Receiving, verifying, and booking in, using the computerised stock system, all incoming goods.
Arranging storage for all received and ready for despatch goods.
Liaising with Workshop Supervisor and Operations Manager to support the production process ensuring effective, formal communication.
Interacting with the Production Schedule and Work Orders to ensure materials and supplies are available for production.
Ensure materials and supplies are issued to the shop floor in a timely manner.
Monitoring material order delivery dates to flag up nondelivery of parts.
Liaising with relevant individuals to ensure efficient deliveries to customer.
