Salary £21,968-£24,054 Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Business Support | Burnley


We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Minute Taker to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Education and Children's Directorate.

There is a vacant full time post working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will be based at the nearest Social Care venue to your home address with the role mainly covering central Lancashire meetings but there is also an expectation to travel to and from a variety of locations across the county due to service needs.


The post supports Children's Social Care providing support to operational staff, managers, and Independent Reviewing Officers in relation to the minute taking of a variety of meetings.

What we are looking for:


Passion - You'll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience, it's what will motivate you, getting it right first time, asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that you've developed elsewhere.


Knowledge and Experience - Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.


Great Communication - You'll be engaging and providing advice to Managers, Social Workers, families, members of the public and the rest of the team on a daily basis, so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.

Working arrangements:


We are currently working a combination of home and office working; therefore, you will be required to have a suitable confidential working space within your home and appropriate broadband connection.

If you are unable to provide a suitable homeworking environment, you will be required to work from your office base or nearest suitable office location for your non-office working hours.
