Assessors in Health and Social Care - South Wales.
Full time 37.5 hours and part time hours are available.
Purpose of Role Reporting directly to the Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day assessing of up to 45 learners. This will involve supporting learners in their place of work, building and maintaining strong relationships with both learner and employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting learners through HSC qualifications, using MS Teams as primary communication tool
- Visiting learners in the workplace and assessing / tutoring them in their Apprenticeships.
- Maintaining documentation on learners
- Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners.
- Working closely with Verifiers and Management
- Attending various training days and meetings
Minimum requirements
- QCF/NVQ level 3/5minimum of three years experience
- Ability to use MS Teams
- Extensive occupational competence within sector
- Effective communication skills
- Outstanding Organisational and multitasking skills
- Level 2 Key Skill or ESW in Maths and English desirable
- The ability to work in a team and independently
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and adapt to changes at short notice
- Developed coaching/mentoring skills
- Driving license and use of own car
Package
- 37 5 Hours per week
- 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
Salary - Dependent on experience
Required experience:
- Supervisory: 2 years
Required licence or certification:
- Full Clean Driving License
Salary:
£18,600.00-£27,000.00 per year
