200- GIS Specialist - Aberdeen

What you'll do

Manage Geospatial datasets at local, regional and global scales
Coordinate with various regions on Geospatial requests
Manage Geospatial data in SDE on Oracle database and related technologies
Advise business users and other staff on recommended processes, workflows and standards when managing and publishing data
Maintain and create analysis, workflow and SDE level Python scripts
Create, manage and maintain complex FME jobs and workflows
Contribute to standards and processes around Geospatial workflows
Coordinate with Projects team, Support and GIS Architects to address system level issues
Manage publishing process and drive content presentation for ArcGIS / FME / Spatiotemporal portals

What to bring

Experience with the following:
ArcGIS for Server & Portal for ArcGIS minimum version 10.
ArcMap / ArcCatalog minimum version 10.5 & ArcGIS Pro 2.x
ArcSDE on Oracle data maintenance techniques
GeoEvent Processor & SpatioTemporal Experience
Power BI, Insights, & Ops Dashboard experience
FME Workbench / FME Server
Python Scripting (PortalPy and ArcPy)
Solid experience working with FME and/or Python
University degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, communications, GIS technologies or a related field is preferred
Experience of working with PowerBI preferred
