  • PSS-LAORS The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is renowned for its research, postgraduate studies and continuing education in public and global health.


Library, Archive & Open Research Services (LAORS) at LSHTM is looking for a part-time Library Assistant to staff the Library in person in the early evenings.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills and experience across a number of responsibilities in a wide-ranging role.


All duties are delivered on site, providing face-to-face services to users from the Enquiries Desk and support to remote users online via our Live Chat service and our ServiceDesk portal, and undertaking tasks and projects relating to Collection Services (or other areas of the service as needed).

The post supports and assists all aspects of the delivery of library services, ensuring an excellent standard of customer service.

The post is part-time 17.5 hours per week, 0.5 FTE and permanent.
