The role


Working as part of our Production department, you will be responsible for setting and operation of each line and associated cleaning, health, safety, and environmental compliance related to activities within agreed standards of performance and customer service criteria and any other duties required by your Supervisor or Manager.

The ideal applicant will be someone who thrives as a hands-on collaborative line controller and is confident in driving daily production to ensure the plan is achieved.

Including ensuring a prompt daily start-up completed safety checks, a functional test of all safety circuits, and regularly communicating with all operational team members.

To optimise line performance and aid in achieving world-class standards.

You may be at times be accountable for the running of more than one line with the support of the production team.


Essential skills & Experience

  • Good mechanical abilities
  • A positive "Can Do" attitude
  • Experience of working in a busy complex food production environment


  • Team Working

  • Effective contributor, demonstrating Teamwork by working positively as part of a team and respecting other members.


  • Communication

  • Clear communication skills which include being able to converse in English with any level of the organisation and external parties i.e auditors/site visitors.

Desirable
Experience in a range of food packaging operations.
