An opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Assistant to join our highly motivated and successful pulmonary rehabilitation team.


The team is made up of nurses, physiotherapists and therapy assistants and delivers pulmonary rehabilitation at 4 sites across Dudley and within patient's homes.

Venues and times will vary and the post may involve some weekend and evening working. We deliver a high quality specialist service which all team members are proud of.

This is an excellent role for an enthusiastic therapist ideally with experience working with Respiratory patients and exercise prescription.

The PR ATP will provide support in the running of the pulmonary rehabilitation service, classes and maintenance classes, also providing home rehab to patients not suitable for the class.

Principal duties and responsibilities

  • To contribute therapy skills to the multidisciplinary assessment and treatment of patients referred to pulmonary rehabilitation, ensuring that a professional high quality patient focused service is delivered.
  • Following initial training in specific clinical areas, to manage an active clinical caseload.
