Motor Vehicle Technician

Location:
High Wycombe, HP10 0AU

Salary:
Up to £36,500 + bonus (depending on brand experience and skills)

Hours:
Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:30 pm, Saturdays (1 in 3) 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Join our client's dynamic team as a Vehicle Technician in our privately owned business. With multiple sites and a global brand, we have experienced significant growth. We are seeking a skilled and efficient technician to meet our business requirements and optimize workshop productivity.


Role Overview:


As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a vital role in repairing and servicing our vehicles to the highest standards.

Working collaboratively with a team, your focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

  • Receive work assignments from the workshop controller and perform related checks, administration, and protection routines
  • Assess tool and equipment needs, and communicate any relevant issues
  • Service and repair vehicles
  • Report any additional repair requirements promptly
  • Provide written and verbal reports on service and repair activities to obtain necessary authorizations
  • Complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) related to service and repair work
  • Conduct vehicle road tests as needed

Requirements:


  • Level 3 qualification as a vehicle technician, preferably with a background in the VAG group
  • Strong problemsolving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Customer serviceoriented with the ability to communicate technical information to noneffectivelytechnical individuals
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
