Description

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual to provide support and assistance across the marketing and communications functions of Sandford Parks Lido.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and General Manager and core staff team to increase understanding and engagement amongst our members of the range of services and activities we provide for our users


You will be responsible for planning and scheduling Sandford Parks Lido's social media content across a range of platforms, showcasing what we do and the positive contribution we make to the community.

You will also assist in the creation of content for all communication channels, including our website, social media and newsletters.

We are looking for someone with experience in social media marketing, with proficiency in creation and design.

An individual with strong attention to detail will be key, as well as a desire to deliver communications and media that appeal to our users.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns
  • Draft and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, and social media posts
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and interviews
  • Monitor media coverage and compile reports on relevant news articles
  • Maintain and update the organisations website and social media platforms
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures and presentations
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
  • Provide administrative support to the communications department as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms and the use of designing platforms
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
