As our company continues to expand and we grow into new avenues, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Full-Time Customer Services Assistant to join our team.


Job Summary:


As a Full-Time Customer Service Assistant at Rubber Roofing Direct, you will play a crucial role in supporting our online sales operations.

Your primary responsibilities will revolve around handling inbound customer calls, aiding, and resolving customer service complaints related to delivery issues, specifically cases where customers' items have not arrived or may be delayed.

This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 30mins Lunch break.


Responsibilities:


Inbound Calls:

Handle incoming customer calls and provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, and order status.

Offer personalised recommendations and advice to customers based on their roofing requirements.

Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.


Customer Service Complaint Handling:

Address customer complaints about courier issues, such as delayed or missing deliveries.

Investigate the status of customers' shipments and liaise with courier partners for resolution.

Provide empathetic support to customers while effectively managing their expectations.

Collaborate with the logistics team to track shipments and resolve any delivery issues promptly.

Keep customers updated on the progress of their complaints and provide timely solutions.


Order Processing and Support:

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in our e-commerce system.

Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfilment and shipping.

Assist customers with technical issues related to the website, ordering process, or product usage.

Provide post-sales support, including tracking shipments and resolving any delivery issues.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.


Qualifications:

Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle customer complaints with empathy.

Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and ecommerce platforms.

Familiarity with roofing products, construction, or related industries is advantageous.

Comfortable with inbound calling and confident in providing customer assistance and complaint handling.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Working Hours:


This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totalling 42.5 hours per week.
