This is a part time role, Fixed term for 6 months.
What you'll be doing
As a Recruiter, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Manage vacancies at all levels through the full recruitment life cycle from approval stage, through to offer and start date;
- Deliver a full 360 recruitment model, by partnering with Hiring Managers and conducting briefing meetings to provide advice and recommendations on recruitment policy, routes to market and direct sourcing methodology and agree timescales, in order to attract the best talent for all roles;
- Manage external PSL recruitment agencies, ensuring they abide by a rigorous process and work directly with you, to provide CVs and a highquality service;
- Ensure all advertising channels are optimised by using the BBUK tone of voice, social channels are appropriately used and adopt a search and network approach to recruitment;
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Recruitment Team, on initiatives and projects which contribute to the overall recruitment strategy.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following skills & experience:
- Proven track record of working as a 360 Recruiter, within an in-house Resourcing function;
- Experience of owning, maintaining and developing stakeholder/Hiring Manager relationships, including appropriate influencing skills;
- A personable team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and demonstrates a willingness to 'get the job done';
- Assertive, highly professional and willing to both challenge and be challenged and demonstrates selfawareness and emotional intelligence in your relationships with others;
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, social media and recruiting process workflows;
- A good understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment & selection;
- Acts as an ambassador for Balfour Beatty, networking internally/externally, promoting Balfour Beatty as an Employer of Choice.
