_Screen Washer _
We are looking for a screen washer to join our têxtile printing team at Ivo Textiles in Southall.

Ivo Textiles has a reputation for outstanding bespoke têxtile printing for many market leaders.

You will be a dedicated and reliable individual, ideally with previous window or car washing or similar cleaning experience to join our team at our factory however aptitude and attitude are the most important skills you would bring.

Full training will be provided.

You will ensure all washing and cleaning duties are delivered to a high standard and be joining a busy, friendly and hardworking team, striving to do their best.

This is a physical job, so you will need the capability to be on your feet, handling screens and buckets of colour up to 25kg and to keep up with production.

Job duties

Wear PPE and use equipment and detergents as instructed.
Wash screens and squeegees using jetwash and detergents to remove all traces of colour/binder mix.
Wash buckets to remove all traces of colour/binder mix.
Carefully position all items so that they dry evenly and are undamaged.
Ensure all items are cleaned without delay as part of the production process.
Keep screen wash bays and bucket storage areas clean and tidy.
Carry out any other tasks commensurate with role according to business needs.

Qualifications and experience

Preferably have wet cleaning experience (such as car washing) however full training will be provided.

Competencies

Selfmotivated to ensure all jobs are completed on time;
Physical agility, spatial understanding, and good coordination to carry out the role
Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 25 kilos or large awkward loads.
Ability to keep up print production and colour shop demands
Attention to detail to ensure cleaning carried out to high standards
Able to be careful with equipment and vulnerable items to avoid damage.
Be well organised
Work well under pressure without compromising quality and maintain a sense of humour.
Have good communication skills and be able to interpret instructions accurately.
Be aware of health and safety issues when dealing with chemicals and equipment
Flexible to work in any area to meet needs of business.

IVO Textiles Limited, Southall

Working hours
8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. 30 minutes for lunch. Overtime by arrangement.

Annual leave
28 days including bank holidays

Job Types:

Salary:
From £10.97 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
